¾cup (1½ sticks butter) softened
1¼ cups confectioner's sugar, divided
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1½ cups all purpose flour
⅛ teaspoon salt
¾ cup finely chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375º oven.
2. In a large bowl,with an electric mixer,beat butter, ½ cups sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
3. Beat in flour and salt until combined. Stir in walnuts.
4. Form dough into 1 inch balls and place on baking sheets.
5. Bake 15-20 minutes, or until golden on bottom. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
6. In shallow dish, place remaining sugar. Roll cookies in sugar, covering cookie completely.
