½ c. sugar
1 c. champagne
2 ruby red grapefruits
2 oranges
maraschino cherries

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cook sugar in saucepan over medium heat, tilting occasionally, for 10 minutes or caramel colored. Remove from heat. Gradually pour champagne over sugar. Let stand for 5 minutes. LEAVE IT ALONE!!

2. Cook mix over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally for 15 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool for 30 minutes.

3. Combine fruit sections in a bowl. Pour mixture over fruit. Cover and chill 2-24 hours. Garnish with cherries.
