1 pound ground beef
1 tin Tomato soup
1 tin brown beans
3 carrots peeled and sliced
1 or 2 large onions chopped
2 large potatoes thinly sliced
any other vegetables that you wish but they should be thinly sliced if large

Directions:

1-Brown the ground beef
2-On the bottom of a casserole dish pour 1/2 tin of tomato soup
3- Add in alternate layers: meat, sliced carrots, onion, potatoes, I have often used peas too
4- Add the remainder of the soup over the final layer
5- Spread the brown beans over the soup layer

Cook slowly at 325 degrees for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. When the casserole has a knife inserted, the ingredients should be soft.

This recipe was given to us by Irlma Wall after visiting them at the farm so many years ago. She was always so pleased to serve it to guests and her husband Midford after working outside at the farm.It is a full meal that we have used frequently over the years.
