¼ C. butter
¼ C. flour
2 C. water or milk
1 tsp. salt
Dash of nutmeg
⅛ t. garlic (or more)
¼ C. cheddar cheese
Dash thyme
2 T. white wine

VEGETABLES:
Bag of frozen mixed vegetables
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. garlic salt
2 T. butter

TOPPING:
Pulled bread
3 T. butter
Sprinkle of garlic powder

SAUCE:
Melt butter in saucepan; add flour; add fluid. Stir under heat until thickened and boiling. Add all the ingredients listed under “Sauce”

VEGETABLES:
Steam vegetables in ¼ cup water in plastic bag for 5 minutes. Save liquid for sauce when draining veggies. Stir in salts & butter in veggies. Grease baking dish and add vegetables. Pour sauce over vegetables

PULLED BREAD TOPPING:
Mix butter and garlic powder and melt. Put pulled bread over the vegetables. Pour garlic butter over the bread

BAKE: 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until topping is golden brown.
