2 pounds carrots
1 cup chicken broth
6 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the carrots, broth, and 2 tablespoons sugar in a nonstick skillet. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and continue to cook covered, stirring occasionally, until the carrots are almost tender, about 5 minutes.

Uncover, return to a boil, and continue to cook for two minutes or until the liquid has reduced to about 4 tablespoons.

Stir in the butter and remaining sugar. Cook, stirring frequently, until the carrots are tender and the glaze is lightly golden, about 3 minutes.

Remove from heat and season with pepper.
