4 tbls butter
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
3 tbls flour
3 cups milk
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 cans (14.5 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained


Directions:
Directions:

In a large sauce pan, heat butter over medium low heat. Add chopped onion and celery, cook stirring until tender.

Add in flour, stirring until well incorporated.

Gradually stir in milk and add sugar, salt, and pepper.

Continue to heat, stirring until thickened and begins to boil.

Puree tomatoes in blender or processor. Heat tomatoes separatly then Gradually add them to milk mixture, stirring constantly
