16 ounces tomato sauce (2 8-oz cans)
¼ cup chopped onion
¼ cup chopped green bell pepper
Crushed pepper (no salt)
Onion soup mix (one packet)
Cilantro
Cumin

2 cups white rice
4 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Heat rice with a bit of oil or margarine in a two-quart pan until rice becomes white (will remain firmer when cooked). Add water to rice (usually 2 to 1 ratio); if 2 cups white rice, then 4 cups water.

Bring rice to a boil. Lower flame to simmer. Add chopped onion and green bell pepper, onion soup mix and tomato sauce. Add cilantro and cumin (just a pinch). Simmer until rice is cooked through.
