Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
1-1½ cups of water
1 can or jar of tomato sauce of your choice ** I use 1 jar (2 cups) of my Freezer Tomato Sauce,
Italian Flavor
1 cup Orzo pasta, cooked and drained
Pepper and salt, garlic powder and/or onion powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cook orzo pasta in a pan of boiling water until tender. Drain and rinse. Set aside.
** To save time, I cook the pasta ahead; drain, rinse and freeze until I need it.
In a large sauce pan, melt the butter, add flour, pepper and salt & optional spices.
Whisk together over low heat until slightly thick, then quickly add 1 to 1½ cups of cold water, briskly stirring until the paste starts to thicken. Tomato juice or beef broth can be substituted for the water.
Then add the tomato or pasta sauce. ** I use 1 jar (2 cups) of my Freezer Tomato Sauce recipe(Italian flavor). A quick option is to use 1 can of condensed tomato soup or to feed extra mouths, add the soup as well as the tomato sauce. Stir over low heat until the sauce is thick. Add a little bit of water if your prefer a thinner soup. Add the pasta and heat through. Season to taste. Serve with garlic toast.
