Marinade:
1 (0.7 oz) envelope italian salad dressing mix
2 T brown sugar
2 T canola oil
2 T soy sauce
1 t cinnamon
1 T fresh thyme or 1 t dried thyme
½ t chili powder

2 lbs chicken pieces (with skin on)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together marinade and rub on chicken that has been rinsed and patted dry. Put chicken skin side down in a baking dish and cover with saran wrap. Marinate in the refrigerator at least one hour but overnight is best.
Bake chicken at 400º for about one hour and turn over once while cooking. You can also do wings by marinating and then placing on cookie racks that have been sprayed with pam and placing those on a cookie sheet with sides that has been lined with foil. Wings also take about an hour to cook.
