1 T. sugar
2 T. soda in ½ cup water
½ cup molasses
½ t. salt
1-1/2 cup flour
1-1/2 cup cranberries cut in half


Sauce of Cranberry Pudding
1 cup sugar
1 cup thin cream
1 T. cornstarch
Heat together and add 2 T. vanilla.
Serve pudding and sauce warm

Mix together and put in two well greased cans (no.2)
Note: according to internet, that’s a 20 oz. can
And I confess, I’ve never made it, but it’s very good. Peggy
Fill 2/3 full.
Steam for 2 hrs. (to steam, place cans in large sauce pan with about 2 inches water. Place lid on and let simmer 2 hrs., check to make sure pan does not run dry.
Cool
Remove from cans and wrap in saran wrap
If you want to make ahead, freezes well.
