1/4 cup butter
1 Large onion, chopped
1/2 tspn of thyme
3/4 tspn of oregano
3 Cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 Tblspn of chopped parsley
1/4 tspn red pepper
a/r. Salt & pepper
4 Doz oysters w/liquor
1 Cup of Italian-style bread crumbs
1/2-3/4 cup of Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In skillet melt butter.
Add onion and garlic and sauté until limp.
Add all the seasonings and mix well.
Add the oysters and when the edges curl, add the oyster liquor (I only use half)
Fold in the bread crumbs.
Transfer the mixture to a buttered casserole and sprinkle the dish heavily with Parmesan cheese.
Bake 15-20 minutes @ 350 degrees.
