5 cups whole wheat flour
2 tbs baking soda
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp mace
1 3/4 cups brown sugar
3 cups natural bran
3 cups all bran cereal

1/4 cup molasses
2 cups buttermilk
1 1/2 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Measure flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, mace, sugar, bran, cereal and raisins into a very large bowl. Stir with a fork until well blended.

In a medium sized bowl, whisk eggs with oil and molasses. Beat in buttermilk and water. Pour egg mixture into dry ingredients and stir just until blended. Cover tightly and keep refrigerated.

To bake, grease muffin tins or use paper liners. Fill tins. (These muffins rise very little and should therefore be filled almost to top of tins.) Bake in a preheated 400º oven for 20 minutes.
