Ingredients:  
Beat — 3 egg yolks in top of broiler, place over hot water
Add— 1/2 cup sugar. Beat until mixture is thick. Remove from heat
Add — 3 T. Lemon juice
1 tsp. Lemon rind
Cool
Add— 1/4 tsp salt to 3 egg whites
Beat until stiff
Fold into lemon mixture
Fold in — 1 cup cream, whipped

Line a buttered 1 quart refrigerator tray with 2 cups vanilla wafers rolled fine

Pour in lemon mixture

Sprinkle top with 1/2 vanilla wafer crumbs (10 wafers for 1/2 cup)

Freeze

Cut in diagonal pieces to serve
