Chopped Suey Recipe

Pork - chop suey style if you can find it (approx. 3/4 cup?)
Otherwise - chop up

Stalk of celery - cut on diagonal
1/2 onion chopped
1 carrot - cut bite size
1 lg can chop suey vegetables (La Choy lg can)
1 can 'Dawn Fresh' mushroom steak sauce
1/4 cup to 1/3 Brown sugar
Soy sauce

Cut pork into bite size pieces, salt & pepper and dust in flour - brown in skillet
Add onion, celery & carrots & sauté
Sprinkle handful of flour over mixture - add approx. cup of water
(looking for creamy soup consistency)
Add the mushroom sauce
Add soy sauce - 4 or 5 dashes to taste
Simmer for 20 minutes stirring often
Add canned veggies and stir
Add 1/4 to 1/3 cup browned sugar and stir
Finish heating through
