French Toast Casserole


Ingredients:

1 large loaf of bread
1 3/4 cup milk
6 large eggs
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp butter, melted
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease 1 9x13 baking dish.
Chop bread into squares, place in dish. In a large bowl, whisk milk, eggs, sugar, butter, cinnamon and vanilla. Pour mixture evenly over bread. Use a rubber spatula to coat if necessary.
 

Cinnamon Sugar Drizzle

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients. Drizzle over top of casserole. Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until the top is golden grown. Let cool for 5 minutes before cutting into slices and serving. Serve with a sprinkle powdered sugar or cinnamon, maple syrup or whipped cream.
