Notes: Greg and I travelled to Wales in 2016. This is a traditional Welsh scone recipe made as a portable breakfast/snack. We visited a beautiful castle staffed by volunteers who dressed in period fashion and who were very knowledgable about the castle and the time period. The women working in the amazing kitchen were wonderful and very sweet. They made me a gluten-free version of the Tinker cakes so I could enjoy them. Very yummy and would be amazing with clotted cream and jam.
