Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Brownie:
½ cup butter
8 oz. semi sweet chocolate
¾ cup white sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ cup plus 2 tbsps. flour
2 tbsps. cocoa powder
¼ tsp. salt
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Chocolate Chip Cookie:
1½ cups butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
3 eggs
2 tsps. vanilla extract
3⅓ cups all purpose flour
1½ tsps. baking soda
¾ tsp. salt
4 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the butter and chopped chocolate in a medium saucepan on medium heat, stirring constantly. Or melt in a large microwave safe bowl in 20 second increments, stirring after each. Remove from the heat, pour in a large mixing bowl, then allow to slightly cool for 10 minutes. Adjust the oven rack to the lower third position and preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line the bottom and sides of a 9x9 inch square baking pan* with aluminum foil or parchment, leaving an overhang on all sides. Set aside. Whisk the granulated and brown sugars into the cooled chocolate/butter mixture. Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking until smooth after each addition. Whisk in the vanilla. Gently whisk in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Once combined, fold in the chocolate chips. Pour/spoon batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 35-36 minutes or until the brownies begin to pull away from the edges of the pan. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out with only a few moist crumbs when the brownies are done. All ovens are different, so keep an eye on them after 30 minutes and use the toothpick test to see when yours are finished. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan set on a wire rack. Once cooled, lift the foil out of the pan using the overhang on the sides.

Chocolate Chip Cookies: Heat oven to 375ºF. In large mixer bowl beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until light an fluffy. Stir together flour, baking soda, salt and gradually beat into butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Put brownie between cookie dough and squish together. Place on cookie sheet and press down a little. Bake approximately 19 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly then transfer to wire rack and cool completely.
