1 lb fresh green beans
3 Tbls butter
Salt & Pepper to taste

Get a large pot of water on the stove. Sort thru the green beans and pinch off the stem end of the bean, discard the stems Add the beans to the boiling water. Boil 5 min and drain off the water. Put the butter into the pan and melt it down. Toss the beans in the butter 4-5 min. add additional butter if necessary. Sprinkle w/salt and pepper. Stir once a minute to keep the beans in the butter. Remove from heat and serve.

I never liked fresh green beans because they were always really bland. One night I had them at Red Lobster and they were buttery and delicious. They hadn't trimmed the stem ends off but the beans tasted great. I came home and tried it myself and BAM! So easy, just butter with salt and pepper. That's all you need
