7 ¾ oz unsalted butter
3 ¾ oz sugar
5 ¾ oz light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp salt
9 ½ oz pastry flour
½ tsp baking soda
15 ¼ oz chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter and sugar. Beat until light, 5 minutes at medium speed.

Add the eggs to the creamed mixture one at a time. Add the vanilla.

Stir the salt, flour and baking soda together and add to the creamed mixture.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Using a #20 scoop, place on paper-lined sheet pan and bake at 350ºF until the cookies are golden brown and cooked through, 10-12 minutes.

Variation: Double chocolate chip---replace chocolate chips with white chocolate and add ¼ cup baking cocoa to the flour mixture.
