½ tsp cumin
½ tsp cayenne
½ tsp cinnamon
4 cups mixed nuts
4 Tbsp butter
6 Tbsp brown sugar
½ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the spices together and set aside.
Heat the nuts in a dry skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until they begin to toast, about 4 minutes.
Add the butter and cook, stirring, until the nuts begin to darken, about a minute.
Add the spices, the sugar, 1 Tbsp water, and the salt, cook, stirring, until the sauce thickens and the nuts are glazed, about 5 minutes.
Remove the nuts from the heat and transfer to a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, separating them with a fork. Let the nuts stand until cooled and the sugar has hardened, about 10 minutes.
Serve right away or store in an airtight container until you want them.

These are so good as a snack, and good for you. You can leave out the cayenne if you don't like spice, or add a whole bunch if you do!
