1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. caramels
½ cup butter
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
2 cups pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour half of the batter into a lightly greased 9" x 13" pan. Bake 350ºF for 15 minutes or until centre is set. Melt caramels with butter and Eagle Brand milk and cook, stirring constantly until creamy and smooth. Spread caramel mixture over baked cake layer. Spread remaining batter over caramel layer. Top with nuts. Return to oven and bake 30-35 minutes longer. Cool. Cut into squares.
