1 lb. ground beef
salt & pepper, to taste
lb. mozzarella cheese
2 eggs
lb. creamed cottage cheese
1 lb. lasagne noodles
cup parmesan cheese, grated

Sauce:
cup vegetable oil
cup onions, chopped
1 - 28oz. tin tomatoes
1 - 5 oz. tin tomato paste
cup water
1 clove garlic, crushed
salt & pepper, to taste

Directions:
Basic tomato sauce: In a saucepan heat oil and saute chopped onions. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, salt and pepper. Simmer on low heat for one hour stirring frequently.

Brown ground beef in a saucepan. Shred mozarella cheese in a separate dish. Add salt and pepper. Mix egg with cottage cheese, set aside. Cook lasagne noodles according to directions. Drain and rinse in cold water. Grease 9" x 13" pan with oil. Add layer of cooked lasagne noodles topped with some ground beef, cottage cheese and mozarella cheese. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Add part of the tomato sauce. Repeat until all ingredients are used ending with sauce and parmesan cheese. Bake 350 for 30 minutes.
