1 c. soft butter
⅔ c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. flour

GLAZE:
1 c. confectioners sugar
½ tsp. almond extract
½ tsp. water

COOKIE:
Preheat oven to 325º. Cream together butter, sugar, almond extract; add flour. Chill for about an hour. Form 1 inch balls. Make indentation in each ball and fill with jam of your choice. Bake 15 minutes. Cool completely.

GLAZE:
Mix together confectioners sugar and almond extract and water--mix until smooth. Drizzle over cookies.
