1lb hamburger
1 onion, diced
5 carrots (shredded or diced very small)
4 cloves of garlic
8 oz mushrooms, diced very small
28 oz can crushed tomatoes
2 tsp. Tomato paste
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce or anchovy paste
1/2 cup red wine
1/2 water
2 bay leaves
2 tsp. Oregano
1 tsp. Onion powder
1 tsp. Garlic powder
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
2 tbl. Butter
1/2 grated Parmesan
1lb. Pasta (your choice)

1. Press sauté on instant pot (high setting). Brown beef with onions and garlic. Add 1 tsp. salt and worcestershire sauce. 2. When hamburger is almost cooked through, add carrots and mushrooms. Let this cook for about 5 mins. Add tomato paste, cook for 1 min.
3. Add red wine and let cook for a couple mins. Add the crushed tomatoes, oregano, garlic and onion powder.
4. Press cancel and set IP to manual (or pressure cook) for 20 mins. When 20 mins is up, press cancel and do a quick release.
5. Set IP to sauté and cook for 5-10 mins to get desired consistency. Turn off and add butter and Parmesan. Serve over your favorite pasta.
