1 small granny smith apple, peeled, cored and cut into 8 slices
3 tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
1 8 oz can crescent dinner rolls
1 tsp apple pie spice
1/3 c. packed brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375 and lightly grease a baking sheet. In a small bowl, toss apple slices in melted butter and set aside. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, apple pie spices, and nuts. Unroll and separate crescent rolls and place mixture evenly among the triangles, then place one apple slice on top and roll dough up around apple. Brush with any remaining butter and bake 10-12 minutes. Crescents should be a golden brown and apples should be soft. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
