lb. round steak, sliced 1"-1" long
3 tbsps. Crisco
1 clove garlic, minced
cup green celery, sliced
cup onion, sliced
cup green pepper, sliced
cup Chinese cabbage, sliced
1 can mushrooms
1 tsp. salt
1 cup boiling water
1 chicken boullion cube
1 tbsp. brown sugar
4 tbsp. soy sauce
tsp. ginger
cup Gingerale
1 tbsp. vinegar
water
2 tbsps. cornstarch
1 can water chestnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat for about 3 minutes; remove from pan. Add green pepper, chinese cabbage, mushrooms, onion, celery and minced garlic. Sprinkle with salt. Cook 5 minutes or until tender crisp, then add to meat. Mix boiling water, chicken boullion cube, brown sugar, soy sauce and ginger into pan and stir. In separate cup, mix gingerale, water, vinegar and cornstarch. Add to chicken boullion mixture, stirring until thick and clear. Add water chestnuts, vegetables and meat and heat until bubbly.
