1 cup butter
1/2 cup onion
1 lb ground beef
1 clove garlic
2 Tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 lb mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a large heavy pot. Add onion (chopped) to pot and cook until soft.
Add beef and cook until just browned. Add garlic (chopped).
Stir in the flour, salt, pepper and mushrooms, cook about 5 minutes.
Add the soup and simmer another 10 minutes. Stir in the sour cream.
Serve over egg noodles or rice.

*if it needs thinning just add a Tbsp of water at a time until you get the consistency you want.

We used to make this at a little restaurant I worked at in Eureka. It always sold out. Sometimes we would make it with roast beef lunch meat and that was spectacular.
