6-8 hamburger size rolls ( soft or hard Rolls / onion rolls are good too)
1.5 # lean hamburger
1 large onion chopped
1 c. tomato sauce
1 c. chopped olives
1 c. sharp cheese- shredded
6-8 slices American Cheese
Italian seasoning
butter for spreading on buns

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º

Fry chopped onion and hamburger. Drain well. Add tomato sauce and S&P to taste and heat until tomato sauce is incorporated well. Remove from heat and add sharp cheddar and olives.
Split buns and spread with butter and sprinkle on Italian seasoning. Divide hamburger mixture onto 6-8 bun halves. Add 1 slice of American cheese and top with other bun half. Wrap in foil and bake 15 minutes. Serve immediately.

If desired, make ahead and keep in fridge for serving later- Cook a little longer to assure each bun is warm throughout and cheese melted.
