2-3 lbs. fresh green beans - washed and trimmed
3/4 cup olive oil
1 1/2 onions- chopped
1 clove garlic - chopped
27 oz. petite diced tomatoes
pinch of sugar
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Using half of the olive oil sauté onions until translucent. Stir in garlic, tomatoes and remaining olive oil. Stir in the pinc of sugar. Bring to a boil. Add green beans, mixing well. Turn heat to simmer and cook 40-45 minutes. Towards the end of coioking time add parsley and salt and pepper.
