2 cups of cornmeal
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 cups milk
cup oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together cornmeal, salt, baking powder and milk, heat oil on medium heat in a heavy pot. (Black Iron) Add cornmeal mixture to hot oil and let it form a crust, about 5 minutes, stir and lower heat. Cover and cook for 15 minutes. Serve with milk like cereal or with cane syrup.
