2 packages crescent rolls
1 cup sugar
1 egg, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
2 packages cream cheese (softened)

1. Roll out 1 package of crescent rolls into a greased 9” by 13” baking dish, and seal the seams between the separate triangles so that you have a single, rectangular sheet

2. Beat the sugar, egg yolk, cream cheese, and vanilla until smooth

3. Pour mixture on top of crescent dough

4. Place second roll of crescent dough on top (press together and roll out before placing on top)

5. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar

6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes

This is one of my favorite breakfast recipes! Using the packages of crescent rolls makes it extremely quick and easy, but I’m sure you could also substitute a made-from-scratch bread base if you wanted to go the extra mile :) I just want to thank you for the support and direction you gave me during the fall as I was finding my way around being a new RA—you helped me to recognize potential that I didn’t see in myself before, and I am so grateful for that and for the example of leadership you set for our staff!
