1 lb flour
1 lb currants
1 lb sugar
1 lb raisins
1/4 lb candied lemon peel, chopped fine
1 lb suet shopped very fine
1 tsp baking powder
1 nutmeg
Little cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt separately, then together.
When well mixed, add sufficient cold water or milk to make a batter just thick engouh to spoon into the mold.
Leave room for it to raise.
Cover closely and boil from 4 to 6 hours.
