Ingredients:  
1 lb boneless veal, cut into ½ or ¾ inch pieces
3 large green peppers, sliced into pieces
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
¼ tsp. oregano
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
⅓ cup olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, crushed and minced
1 16 oz. can of whole peeled tomatoes, drained and crushed by hand
1 tsp. sugarl
1 tsp. parsley flakes

Use large, deep skillet. Heat olive oil, put in veal, stir and cook 4-5 minutes. Add peppers and garlic. Sauté 3 or 4 minutes mixing frequently. Add rest of ingredients, blend all together and cook slowly, uncovered, until meat and peppers are tender, approximately 15 minutes. Serves 4.

Grandma Lane loved any veal dish. One of her favorite meals to order when eating out, especially at Bellini's was Scallopine Di Vitello Fiorentina.
