1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1=tsp soda
1 tsp salt
5 tbs sour milk
1 cup raisins
1/2 cups nuts
2 cups quick rolled oatmeal
2 cups sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Blend shortening , sugar,and add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla and salt. Mix well. Dissolve soda in milk. And add. To egg mixture. Measure flour twice . Add flour and oats. Drop from spoon on greased pan. Bake 15 min at 375 degrees
