1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1 c. flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 c. sour milk or buttermilk
2 eggs beaten
1/4 c. shortening, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together all dry ingredients. Then add milk, shortening and eggs. Batter will be somewhat thick and may take longer than ordinary pancakes to cook.
Serve with your favorite syrup or other topping like fruit or peanut butter and chocolate chips.
