5 c. fresh or frozen berries
1 T. lemon juice
2 c. flour
3 c. sugar
2 T. cornstarch
1 c. milk
⅓ c. softened butter cut into pieces
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Spread berries into well greased 2 quart shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice, set aside. In medium bowl stir flour, 1 c. sugar, milk, butter, baking powder, and tsp. salt until well blended, will be thick. Spoon over berries, spread to edges of dish, set aside. In small bowl mix remaining 2 c. sugar, cornstarch, and tsp. salt. Sprinkle over batter. Pour boiling water over all. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for about 1 hour or until golden brown and glazed.
