5 Cups Chicken Broth
1 1/2 Cups Peas (rinsed and drained(
1/2 Cup Barley
1 Carrot (diced)
1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
1 Stalk Celery (diced)
1 teaspoon Minced Garlic
1/4 teaspoon Dried Thyme
1/4 teaspoon Pepper
Ham or Ham Bone (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour.
