Cake:
2½ C flour
4½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
¾ C brown sugar
¾ C sugar
¾ C butter
1¼ C milk
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

Topping:
¼ C butter, melted
½ C brown sugar
¾ C shredded sweetened coconut
3 T cream or half & half

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt.
Cream butter and sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
Add the flour mixture and milk alternately, starting with flour mixture.
Beat for 2 minutes.
Grease and flour 10 x 10 x 2½ pan.
Bake 40 - 45 minutes
Combine topping ingredients.
Spread on warm cake, place under broil until brown and bubbling.
