½ lb. butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
2 6 oz. milk chocolate bars
Chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and brown sugar—add egg yolk and vanilla. Add sifted flour. Mix well. Spread on cookie sheet (do not grease) and bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown at 350º. When finished baking, break up chocolate bars and lay on top of baked dough. Return to oven for 2-3 minutes or until chocolate just begins to melt. Remove from oven and spread chocolate. Top with chopped nuts. Cut in to squares while STILL WARM.
