1 ½ cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup oil
1 egg
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Filling:
½ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter

Variation:
add chocolate chips, use less cinnamon

Grease 9 x 9 pan, heat oven to 375º.

Mix topping set aside.

Mix flour, baking powder, salt. Add sugar.

Beat egg, milk and vanilla.

Add dry ingredients with oil.

Put half of mixture into pan.

Put half brown sugar mix on top.

Spread on rest of dough and sprinkle other half of brown sugar mixture on top.

Bake for 20-30 minutes.

This was a favorite recipe of Aunt Cheryl's. They often made this for Sunday breakfast, when their kids were young.
