2 cups sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
4 cups raw Spanish peanuts
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
2 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy saucepan, heat sugar, syrup, water and salt to a rolling boil. Add peanuts. Reduce heat
to medium and stir constantly. Cook until syrup spins a thread, 293º F. Add butter then baking soda.
Beat rapidly. Pour onto a buttered surface, spreading to ¼" thickness.
When completely cooled, break into pieces.
