3 cups flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
2 cups mashed bananas
2 1/2 cup quick oatmeal
1 cup chopped nuts, bakers choice

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together and set aside. In another bowl, cream shortening, sugar and eggs together
and mix well, then add mashed bananas, mix well. Blend in dry ingredients, add oatmeal and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet and
bake at 350 F for 12 minutes.
