"When I'm at a Chinese restaurant having a hard time with chopsticks, I always hope that there's a Chinese kid at an American restaurant somewhere who's struggling mightily with a fork."--Rick Budinich

Ingredients:
3 c. all purpose flour
3 tbsp. white sugar
3 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
tsp. salt
3 c. buttermilk
c. milk
3 eggs
⅓ c. butter, melted
bag chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, beat together buttermilk, milk, eggs and melted butter. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture, using a wooden spoon or fork to blend. Stir until it's just blended together. Add chocolate chips.

Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. (You can flick water across the surface and if it beads up and sizzles, it's ready.) Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately cup for each pancake for large cakes or cup for smaller cakes. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

Mixed ingredients and/or leftover batter can be stored frozen in a large ziploc bag. Allow time to defrost overnight
