1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
3 cups flour
2 1/2 cup oatmeal
1 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups fresh or frozen peaches

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger salt and eggs. Stir in flour and baking soda.
Add oatmeal, walnuts and peaches. Mix well. Drop onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350º F for 15 - 20 minutes.

Can double or triple the recipe and can freeze the dough and bake anytime.
Drop each cookie onto pan and freeze. When frozen, put cookies into plastic bags and freeze till ready to cook.
