1/4 cup hot water
3 Tbsp packed brown sugar
4 large apples
12 vanilla caramels
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup heavy cream

Directions:
Directions:
In a baking pan mix hot water and brown sugar. Core apples, cut peel from top half each. Stuff each center with 3 caramels. Place in baking pan and sprinkle with lemon juice. Bake at 350 for 1 hour, basting with the juice in bottom of pan every 20 minutes. Lift apples out letting any caramel in centers drip into pan. Place apples in serving dishes. Slowly stir cream into mixture in pan. Place pan over low heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until it is smooth and begins to simmer.
Remove from heat. Spoon sauce over apples and serve.
