2 cups sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
4 cups raw Spanish peanuts
2 Tbsp butter
2 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy sauce pan, heat the sugar, syrup, water and salt. Bring to a rolling boil.
Add the peanuts, reduce heat to medium and stir constantly
Cook until the syrup spins a thread (293 F)
Add butter then the baking soda
Beat rapidly
Pour onto a buttered surface spreading it out to about 1/4" thickness.
When the candy is cooled, break into pieces.
