4 large cooking apples (like Granny Smith)


1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and core apples. Peel each apple about 1/3 down from the stem end.
Place in small baking dish and fill the center of each apple with the sugar/cinnamon mix.
Dot with butter if you want.
Bake uncovered at 350º F for 35 - 40 minutes or until the meat of the apple is soft when pierced with a fork.
Serve warm with cream, whipped cream, or ice cream.
