1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups water
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vinegar
14 soda crackers
1 double crust unbaked pie shell
Butter for dotting pie

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º F.

Mix all ingredients together except for the crackers and pie shell. Boil slowly for 5 minutes.
Let the mixture cool. Break up soda crackers and put into pie crust. Dot with butter.
Pour mixture into pie shell and place top crust on top.

Bake until brown (about 35 - 45 minutes). Do not over bake.
