2½ cups sifted flour
½ tsp. baking powder
1 cup butter
¾ cup sugar
1 egg unbeaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Food coloring (optional), sprinkles and sugars

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400º. Sift flour with baking powder. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla, mix well. Add sifted ingredients in small amounts. Add food coloring if desired and mix well. Use a cookie press to mold cookies. Be sure to use an ungreased, cold cookie sheet when using the cookie press to create cookies. Decorate with colored sugars or sprinkles. Bake 5-8 minutes.
