4 egg yolks
¼ cup heavy cream
⅓ cup granulated sugar
1 ⅔ cup sifted flour
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. cinnamon
Mazola oil for frying
Confectioner's sugar

Directions:
Beat eggs with mixer until light. Add cream, sugar, beat well by hand. Add flour, salt, spices, mix well. Take a golf ball size piece of dough. Roll out on a floured board flat to ⅛ of an inch. Cut 1" wide to 4" long strips. In the center of the strip, make a 1½ - 2 inch slice. Take an end put it through the slit. Heat oil 350º in electric frying pan. In 2" of fat, fry 3-4 at a time till light golden brown, ½ a minute at most. Turn, brown on other side. Remove from pan, set on paper towel to cool. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.
